What should my goal for one month of dieting be? Im setting up a chart for myself to keep me from giving up on dieting, and I want to set up a reasonably high goal to aim for in terms of weight loss. I dont eat much dairy, just skim milk, and I only eat whatever meat my parents cook (which is always healthy, since my parents are very health concious) Some of my fat is probably also muscle (im a black belt in karate) and I also play a lot of DDR. A lot of info to swallow, but any advice? I also drink a lot of coffee (yes, I know how unhealthy that is for growth at my age ^^;), but I plan to switch that out with green tea.

For those of you who are dieting...How do you get passed your cravings? Does anyone else do this? When I crave chocolate, I drink hot chocolate or chocolate milk, I might brush my teeth or chew gum if I want to snack. I used to keep a pic of the body I desired on my fridge, does anyone else do these things or have any easy dieting tips/tricks/secrets they use?
I know water is good for you when dieting but does the amount of water you drink matter? I usually drink maybe a glass or two of water a day, and now that I am dieting/exercising, I have increased my intake of water. I drink prob. at least a gallon a day. Is this going to hurt or help my diet? Should I stick to drinking slightly less, or should the amount of water I am drinking speed the process up?

I have a weight loss company for teens and want to do a free call or podcast for teens on "How to lose weight without Dieting." I'm wondering what would be better, a free conference call or a podcast. I appreciate any answers. The following are examples of problems I help teens resolve in order to lose weight (it is not a typical weight loss program). Do I eat for emotional or external reasons (boredom, procrastination, lonliness, sadness, body dissatisfaction, even happiness, because the food tastes so good, because my friends and family want me to eat, because food is expensive so I have to eat it all, because children are starving in the world, etc.) Do I eat to cope with stress? Do I binge eating? Is it possible for me to feel fabulous about myself at my current weight as I am losing? Been dieting not I go a long time between going to the bathroom? What to do? I started dieting and now it can be up to five days between bowl movements. Should I take laxitives or something? How do I break the cycle of yo-yo dieting? I've lost the same 50 pounds about seven times. I'm a pro at losing it, but I always gain it back. Aside from being in therapy for this problem, I've been on Weight Watchers three times;did Neutra System;Took Meridia (weigh loss drug) to lose weight;went on my own "lifestyle changes.";excercised; did South Beach; Slim Fast; Well, you get the point... I've been through it all almost. I just don't know how to maintain the weight loss once it's off. I know most of my problem is psychological, but I just can't break this vicious cycle of chronic yo-yo dieting.
Do you have any good dieting tips? Okay. I am 11, but hear me out. In every t-shirt I wear, my stomach sticks out farther than my boobs. While dieting, are sugar free energy drinks significantly less destructive than regular? I’ve heard in passing that despite being labeled as “diet”, and having 0 calories listed under the nutritional facts, diet sodas aren’t all that much better than regular sodas. Is it possible to lose weight without dieting? I really want to lose weight but I hate dieting. Like I hate it when people say I can't have a piece of pizza I'm on a diet.
