How do I gain self control when it comes to eating healthy or dieting? I am about 30 lbs. over weight and I tried weight watchers to lose weight, it worked but I didn't stick with it so I am back were I started. I don't exercise, I don't eat right, and ALMOST don't even care. Deep down I do though and wish I could have self control over food. I know that I have self control considering I have overcome other and worse addictions just fine, one being to stop smoking cigarettes. How can I practice good eating habits for longer then a few weeks wthout giving up?

What is the least amount of fat you can eat in a healthy diet? I know your body needs some fats, but a lower fat diet is certainly healthiest. What is a low fat diet? I mean, going completely fat free is unhealthy, but eating 65 grams of fat (recommended for a 2,000 calorie diet) is not necessary. Is a healthy diet more important when you are young or when you are old? Are there any reliable studies on this issue? On the one hand, I can see how a healthy diet when you are young might set in motion some long term positvie health benefits. On the other hand, it may be the case that children's bodies are so efficient at squeezing the nutrition out of the foods that they eat that a child's poor diet may not have the detrimental effects that an older person's poor diet would. My 8 year old son's diet is very limited, yet surprisingly, at least to me, he acts and looks very physically healthy.

healthy dieting...? i never eat breakfast... and at my highschool its machines,fastfood crap or...nothing..and i usually drink water and like eat something like animal crackers or something similar to that... and when i get home i seem to eat tuna like everyday..but since the food is there, i'll just eat. and i always eat a good supper.. the problem is, that i've put on 15-20 pounds that aren't 'needed' i don't want to be skinny and all that crap, its just that since i'm a small person, all my weight seems to go to my lowerbody and my stomach...it just seems to max the look. i'm vegetarian, but i eat some fish, but i'm also lactose intolerant...and the problem is eating is hard for me anyways..and i dont' like to exersice really..so what should i do to just get rid of the petty weight like the 'water weight' crap... i'm into health foods and all...i just dont eat all day and then i do. its a problem. thanks in advance. oh! i eat alot of starchy foods..like pasta etc. help???

I'm 20 and 5'10, 135lbs Truthfully, all I eat is meat/poultry and some veggies only like lettuce tomato onions, things that go in salads. I eat a lot of rice and barely any sea food. Also I would say a lot of fastfood.. like at least 2 meals per week are fastfoods. I also eat chips and junkfood. I noticed I'm kinda gaining weight the wrong way. I feel bad eating healthy and dieting infront of my pregnant friend? My friend is 8 months pregnant and believes she is no longer attractive (though she's totally precious.) Can people become underweight with HEALTHY dieting?? For example, is someone is 150 pounds and 5'8 and they lose 30 pounds in a couple of months with diet (1,200caloire diet) and wworkout (at least 4 times a week) they would be 120 pounds. Our diet manipulates these hormones.........so after each meal your body will produce a greater quantity of Fat Burning Hormones...........while Fat Storing Hormones are MINIMIZED as much as humanly possible. Healthy eating/dieting.. why is it that...? im on healthy eating plan sort of following a points system, however i dont eat chocoloate, cakes or crisps..but three weeks in and ive started to crave the odd choccy bar... i never used to eat them so why now? i used to had the odd packet of crips and still do.. maybe one packet a week as before but chocolate is different im actually craving it....

Exercises schedule? Actually a healthy Lifestyle and dieting SCHEDULE!? Okay. School is almost out. and for the summer I don't want to be sitting around the house with all this extra food taunting me and I want a time schedule of when to exercise and eat and diet and stuff. Help with a healthy diet too? Mks so I'm a highchooler, and my school doesnt offer too many healthy choices except for whole wheat bread sandwiches which i get everyday and a limited selection of fruits, most of which are applesauce or from a can. My parents arent into dieting and they usually order out..a lot. Meh! I can't help it when they order out a lot! They also don't buy a lot of healthy foods! Like fruits and vegetables! Help me?!!?
