Today, standing right here, I am going to talk about something. I want to talk about the food pyramid. but first of all, do you even know what a food pyramid is? Look at this picture here. This is a food pyramid. A food pyramid is something like a guide for healthy eating. This pyramid is divided into sections like the ones in here. The reason why it is a healthy eating guideline is because it tells us of how much should we eat for each kind of food. The food pyramid has six classes of foods. The one on the top is the least needed in amount by our bodies while the one on the bottom of the food pyramid is the class of food that we must consume the most daily. So, let me explain to you from the top. First and foremost, is the group of foods like wine and cakes. Or to be specific, fat and sugar loaded foods. This kind of food is least needed by our bodies. Therefore, eat just a little bit of this type of food. This is because the over eating of sugars and fats leads to chronic diseases like diabetes and heart attack. Those diseases can cause fatal outcomes and even death sometimes. The recommended quantity of this type of food to be ingested is not more thatn 2 servings per day. So, cut down all those fatty and sugary foods from your diet. I know that you might can resist the fatty foods but waht about the sugar coated ones? i know everyone is a sweet tooth like me. Sugars are simply hard to say no to. But if you still want to indulge your tastebuds in that sweet sensation while voiding those harmful consequences, why not try substituting sugar for other alternatives like honey, maybe? In this way, your body is not harmed, and simultaneously, your cravings for something sweet is fulfilled. Now, let's move on to the next flock, which incorporates foods like meat, mutton and poultries. This is the second least important type of food in our diet. Meat, mutton and poultries serve I'll be saying this thing in front of my teacher...duh...well, looking at the comment, I'm already bored of typing now. There is suppuosed to be a lot more. This is just 40% of the whole thing.
