I am sick of my neighbour who is always complaining of non-existent noise to Environmental Health Department? I have a neighbour (lives alone) who is in her late 60's and since the day she has retired, she has never stopped moaning and groaning about some noise coming from our house, particularly from the wall where the boiler is situated. At what point should/would the Health Department step in? I have a very elderly neighbor who's a shut-in. Can I send a mold kit to a local health department? I am highly allergic to mold and had some in my bathroom. So, I bought a mold kit from hardware store to see how fast it grows. It is bad and black mold, too. The instructions, say to send to a lab with $30 fee. Wouldn't a local health dept. do the testing? What can be done about removing mold? TB and the Health Department? My brother was exposed to an active case of TB a while back. He was notified by the Health Department. He went to HD and they gave him test and gave him antibiotics to take for several months.He didn't take them all and drank alcohol the whole time he did take any. He says the HD said it was just a precaution. I think he is lying and living in denial as well as an idiot. Now I found a stack of letters from the HD saying he MUST come in for a chest xray at their TB Dept. He refuses to go even though it is free. They have been sending them every single month for the last 6 months or longer. He just ignores the letters or throws them away. What is the deal? The HD won't tell us anything as they say it would violate his privacy. What about those of us exposed to him. He lived with our Mother.He left for now and moved in with some girl crazy enough to take him for awhile. He's a habitual liar, an alcoholic and can't be trusted to be honest. What should we do? The HD won't tell us anything. I know he has a horrible sounding wet cough, he is an alcoholic, he has reported having fever, chills, night sweats, flu like symptoms that come and go for several months now and refuses to go to the doctor, he has complained with chest pains, he’s lost weight. He had relationship with someone with an active case of TB and was in jail when there were active cases. He and my mother lived in a small 2 home with very poor ventilation for an extended period of time. My mother suffers from some of the same symptoms but refuses to be tested. I am forced to see her everyday (too long to explain). I have been keeping at least 3-4 ft distance from her and have made excuses not to go inside her home. I was tested and was negative. I worry about those who know nothing about his problem and his child that often sleeps in the same bed with him. Am I over-reacting or would the HD allow someone suspected to be an active case to roam around without any action?

Should I call the health department or something? I work at PetsMart, and at night and in the mornings they have us chang the towels in the bird cages and give medication to sick rodents. There are no gloves, goggles or masks so far as I've seen. I'm mostly worried about the bird and rodent feces on my bare hands than the actual sick mice and rats. Should I Call the Health Department? Last Saturday night I went out to dinner at a mediterranean restaurant. The service was great and the food was decent. About 7 hours later, I started throwing up and I didn't stop throwing up for 12 hours. It was one of the worst nights of my life. There is some discrepancy and gray area due to different states having different laws, OK: a Health card, being a card issued by the health department after taking a short class on clean +safe food/beverage handling procedures in the food industry for the purpose of obtaining employment (also requires a blood test for Hep.) The health card DOES exist in Las Vegas and it is almost mandatory to work anywhere around food or drink, but does it exist in CA is my question, and is it something that may be to the benefit of a bartender to get. I Just Came From The Health Department? unsanitary tenants. should i call the department of health? Tuberculosis Patient and the State Health Department? I need answers!? Under what circumstances would a state health department come to someones home and burn their belongings? A landlord called them after she found papers from the health dept. to the tenant (that had skipped out on his rent) regarding their TB status and she said the H.D. came out to burn his left belongings. Does this mean this person is in an active stage of TB and a threat to the general public? If not, then can a H.D. legally do something like this without the tenant's consent? I knew the tenant. Should we call the local Health Department about this?? Today,my family and I ordered some lunch from McDonalds and we got it to go through the drive thru. Our order was very simple and easy we ordered 7 double cheeseburgers plain,and two orders of french fries. Long story short is that when we got home ALL of our burgers had pickles,ketchup,and mustard on them. Why not Government of India-health department implement for HIV test for every men women before marriage? Nowadays almost 90% of school and college girls fallen in Love with somebody during teenage.
