Can Health Department Kick you out of house? Our septic tank has issues and overflows. It overflows due to our field lines being under natural water. Please enlighten me on why the health department wants me to sell alcohol to get licensing for a hookah cafe? I live in WV, smoking is legal in bars. The only way I can open a hookah cafe (smoke flavored tobacco in a cafe setting), is if I sell alcohol. Why? At what point should/would the Health Department step in? I have a very elderly neighbor who's a shut-in. While I do feel quite sorry for her, she is stinking up the entire apartment building with her cat's litter box, and mounds of garbage that don't get taken out but once a month, if that. TB and the Health Department? My brother was exposed to an active case of TB a while back. He was notified by the Health Department. He went to HD and they gave him test and gave him antibiotics to take for several months.He didn't take them all and drank alcohol the whole time he did take any. He says the HD said it was just a precaution. I think he is lying and living in denial as well as an idiot. Now I found a stack of letters from the HD saying he MUST come in for a chest xray at their TB Dept. He refuses to go even though it is free. They have been sending them every single month for the last 6 months or longer. He just ignores the letters or throws them away. What is the deal? The HD won't tell us anything as they say it would violate his privacy. What about those of us exposed to him. He lived with our Mother.He left for now and moved in with some girl crazy enough to take him for awhile. He's a habitual liar, an alcoholic and can't be trusted to be honest. What should we do? The HD won't tell us anything. I know he has a horrible sounding wet cough, he is an alcoholic, he has reported having fever, chills, night sweats, flu like symptoms that come and go for several months now and refuses to go to the doctor, he has complained with chest pains, he’s lost weight. He had relationship with someone with an active case of TB and was in jail when there were active cases. He and my mother lived in a small 2 home with very poor ventilation for an extended period of time. My mother suffers from some of the same symptoms but refuses to be tested. I am forced to see her everyday (too long to explain). I have been keeping at least 3-4 ft distance from her and have made excuses not to go inside her home. I was tested and was negative. I worry about those who know nothing about his problem and his child that often sleeps in the same bed with him. I Just Came From The Health Department? unsanitary tenants. should i call the department of health? A landlord called them after she found papers from the health dept. to the tenant (that had skipped out on his rent) regarding their TB status and she said the H.D. came out to burn his left belongings. Should we call the local Health Department about this?? Today,my family and I ordered some lunch from McDonalds and we got it to go through the drive thru. Our order was very simple and easy we ordered 7 double cheeseburgers plain,and two orders of french fries. Long story short is that when we got home ALL of our burgers had pickles,ketchup,and mustard on them. Well,we ate our lunch and for dinner tonight,my husband went to go heat up one of the burgers and there was a huge bite taken out of the burger and it was the ONLY burger that was plain and didn't have anything on it. We have saved it for evidence so I can call the district manager at our local McDonalds on Monday morning. Here is my question,would you also call the health department to let them know that the employees are tampering with customers food too? I know for a fact that none of us took a bite out of the burger because we were gone for the rest of the day and we were all together. What would you do if you found out that somebody had tampered with your food?

Why not Government of India-health department implement for HIV test for every men women before marriage? Nowadays almost 90% of school and college girls fallen in Love with somebody during teenage. They committed for having romance in bed many times. Afterwards they broke-up their relationship and get another one vice versa. Due this kind of relationship they getting HIV and spreading others also. These people should be identified by health department and quaratinned in individual cell until die. Government of India should take care the expenses for those people.

How do you complain to the Health Department? I just found a hair in my Pink Berry. I've had other gross problems with food from elsewhere too and I'm getting really tired of people being irresponsible handling the food I eat. As it is, I only eat at resturaunts with A ratings, but it still sometimes seems like those ratings mean nothing, like when I find hair in my food, which has now happened to me twice in the last six months at places that had A ratings. And let's talk about the multiple times I've brought home moldy food that was supposedly fresh from major supermarkets. So, I'm gonna start complaining. I went to the California Department of Health web site but couldn't find any complaint forms. Does anybody know how to go about this?

I have a letter from my occupational health department...? Hi I was wondering if anyone had been summoned to their occupational health department for a meeting? I have recently started a new job within my company. I have been working for them in another role for four months now. I have not been off sick in this job. I'm quite worried about it as I love the job I'm in. I was off with depression in my last job so maybe it's something to do with that, I don't know. What do you think it'll be like? Do they want to catch me out?
