trying to loose weight/ detox?
i just weighed myself today and i weigh 190 pounds. i have 20 weeks until vacation. i want to loose atleast 60 pounds, is that possible ? i was thining of doing the lemonade detox for 10 days and hoping to loose about 20 pounds on that. Does anyone know any fast weight lose diets. I know its unhealthy to loose weight fast, but i dont care. Does anyone have any advice, or diets. thanks

- Not going to happen... But here is some info that you can actually use. Ask a doctor before you try and weight loss program. 1. Stay away from the Lemonade diet do it right and keep it off. 2. Determine how many calories you need for a 24hr period. You can search the internet for Calorie Calculator and input your info there. Age/HT etc... 3. A pound is 3500 calories. 4. Increase your cardio and try to decrease 500 calories a day. 5. Eat six small meals a day that add up to your recommended intake. 6. Look at the food you eat and count calories. It will be hard at first but it will help you become disciplined and pay off after this summer. It will turn into a long term health plan. I know this is not the comprehensive answer you wanted but it is a start. There is no easy way to do this. It will take more than 20 weeks.
- If by "lemonade" diet you mean fresh lemon juice, grade B pure maple syrup, cayenne pepper and herbal laxative tea, then that's the way to do it. It works and is NOT unhealthy, actually quite the opposite. Please remember that as easy as this detox SOUNDS, it is very difficult to achieve, mostly mentally. Your body is going to feel deprived because of the usual amount of food consumption, so maybe starting out for three days is more realistic. Then eat a small amount of fruit on the fourth day, and try to continue for a few more days. This process takes unbelievable commitment, both mentally and physically. You may get sick, weak, and cranky. These are all natural effects of the elimination of harmful toxins in your body. If you can stick with it, I can assure you that you will not be disappointed. After your detox, slowly start to introduce raw fruits and vegetables back into your diet. I can't stress enough how difficult the 10 days are, but worth it. Cleaning out your system is very rewarding, and then you can train your body to eat all over again, but HEALTHY. Staying with the new lifestyle after the detox is one of the hardest parts, so it's up to you. Good luck, drink at least six glasses of the mixture a day, and lots of water. Step out of your comfort zone!
