Does the Health department?

Okay i am 3 weeks late and i have an appoinment with my Gyno on the 11th of April,, i dont know why my period is late i havent been stressed or undergoing any change at all,, i had spotting for 8-9 days when i wiped but that started at 4 days late and it only lasted 8-9 days only when i wiped,, i had mild cramping on my lower left side.. nothin serious though.. i have taken 3 hpts=NEG,, 2 urine tests at the hospital in the ER=NEG....the last test i tested as like 4 days ago.. and i still feel tired and some cramps still... i have no type of infection because the doc tested that also... i was just wondering if i went to the local health department ill they give me a blood test because i i am so anxious and i dont think i can wait like 3 more weeks to find out if i am or not... also has anyone experienced this before?? The spotting as light brown/pinkish.. and only like a few drops on the toilet paper.. never had to wear a liner...

  1. Yes, they do blood tests for pregnancy. You need to call and ask when you should come in, since they'll often have designated times for pregnancy and STD testing. Be prepared for a long wait at the health department.
  2. Maybe you just had a very light flow .. 8-9 days seems long but if is was only when you wiped i have no idea
  3. maybe it's a freak irregularity with your cycle. i don't think they'll offer a blood test there, you could call and see if they do, but your best bet is just eat healthy as if you are pregnant and wait til your appt...... pregnancy is a big waiting game and a bunch of anxiety..........
  4. I don't think they will do a blood test at the health dept. I think they just do a regular hpt (home preg. test) You can go to your reg. Dr and they can do one for you.
