If i filed a complaint to the health department, does the owner of the restaurant will know who filed?

If i filed a complaint about dirty restaurant to the local health department, does the owner of the restaurant know who filed? Whe I filed a complaint, the health department representative asked me my full name and phone number.... I am just worried if the inspector will tell the owner of the restaurant who filed.... or ..accidentally, the inspector has a paperwork that showing my name.....

1. usually that kind of info is confidential and only for the purpose of the health dept. to follow up with you if necessary.

3. If any restaurant had a serious health issue, why would you be concerned as to whether your name was mentioned or not... Unless you work there! Either way, you should be commended for protecting public health.
4. most likely not. they like to keep it confidential so that people arent afraid to report when something isnt going right!
5. unless you signed something stating specifically that you allow them to use your name then know, then will have to use anon
6. Depends on how well related the health depatment and the restaurant owner know each other. 't migh depend on how large your city is.
