anorexia?!?!?
ok so i used to eat about 3 meals a day, but many times i only eat dinner now. in the past month i have dropped about 15 pounds, and i get really mad at myself when i eat. also i am exersizing about 3 times more thatn i used to. finally i think i am REALLY fat even though many people say im skinny. do you think i have anorexia? if so wat should i do?

- I think your forming anorexia. Talk to a parent or a close friend. Even maybe a school nurse. Just keep telling yourself its normal to eat, and your beautiful the way you are. Hope I helped :-)

- Yes. You should talk to someone like your parents or a school counselor. Someone who will be able to help you in a positive way. Take care of yourself, your body does so much for you everyday..so do something for it and eat healthy. Dont be afraid of food

- you dont have anorexia. if people say you're skinny, just stay on the plan. stop trying to lose weight, and just do it to stay in shape. and also ---> eat more than 1 meal a day. eat breakfast, lunch & dinner. that way your body will look great!!!
- idk ur weight ur age and ur height but u r in the early stages of anorexia...seriouslii get some help tell ur parents or doctor if ur afraid to tell a friend or a guidance counselor. trust me talk to someone before this gets out of hand!!!!!i wish u the best of luk
- You have some of the classic signs of anorexia nervosa. I know it is probably hard ot talk about with your parents or anyone else, but it's in your best interest to do so. I understand how you feel and appreciate your anger at yourself. You probably wonder why people dont see the same things you do. But no matter how much sympathy I poor out you wont get well until you understand your symptoms, face the facts, and let someone help you. There are many people out there with caring attitudes. Please take care of your health. You owe it to yourself.
- you should really talk to someone. i was anorexic for a while. i barely weighed 100 lbs. my mom and sister noticed and got on to me about it... and since then, i have had 2 kids and im at a healthier weight. wish you all the best!
- you have some sort of eating disorder. but i got news for you sweetheart, eating less only makes you gain weight. you slow down your metabolism, making it harder for your body to burn even just that one meal. the key is to eat 5 or 6 SMALL meals per day, starting with breakfast. i used to hate breakfast, never ate it, made me nauseous, couldn't eat that early -- but you HAVE to, or else your body won't start to burn anything until dinner, which means your fat remains stagnant all day, and just collects during dinner time. a distorted body image (especially if you think you're fat when you're average weight or skinny) is usually the sign of a problem. you should talk to someone, a doctor of psychologist who can help you get over your problem. as long as you recognize it early, it should be quite easy to get over. don't get mad at yourself when you eat, because if you didn't eat, you would die. eating celery has negative calories, meaning, it takes more to burn then it does to eat (ex. i think one stalk has 3 calories, but it takes 6 calories to chew and digest it) if you feel the need to snack, fill up on celery. chick peas are also filling, as well as a number of other proteins. salad with just plain vinegar (no fancy dressings -- they're worse than fast food sometimes) the most weight a healthy person can lose is 2 pounds per week, so 15 is rather dangerous gaining weight is not the end of the world. in fact, most men like girls with meat on their bones. skeleton girls are not attractive and are totally not what anyone likes to look at.

I am a licensed Nutritionist and a cook .......I will tell you this ........Yo yo eating will not keep you in any great shape at all .Even s like Heidi Klum say they do enjoy little bit of everything...Sometimes when we deprive our bodies of food like that .....our body does not know how to react to it so it slows down metabolism ..........I would say ..........talk to someone but first talk to yourself and tell the self that ........."food does need to be enjoyed .........even a cup of fresh fruit for breakfast and a great salad for lunch would be better than going without anything at all. - If you are asking that is a good sign. Most people with anorexia would just blow off the signs and keep spiraling down. I can't say that you fit the actual diagnosis of anorexia without more information, but you are obviously trying to numb yourself of some pain. You know that already, but sometimes you need to hear it. You are hurting yourself and have a distorted image of yourself. Do you think you are anorexic? Please call a counselor that specializes in eating disorders and talk about how to get this in check. I have seen too many people die of eating disorders or live miserable lives obsessed with calories, weight, food and exercise.
