Mend Your Diet

a somewhat silly question in need of a serious answer. Could a health article be related to science?

I just realized I had a 5 point paper due tomorrow in my BIO class. We're supposed to get a mag/newspaper article about science today and report on them. Unfortunately in the directions we cannot use an article on the internet at all and going out this late finding a newspaper is unrealistic. I found a health article about fibroids and HPV in a magazine I own. Would that be a science related article?

  1. yep
  2. Sure, medical science is absolutely a science. You can look online for information about human papilloma virus and fibroids. You can relate it to cancer or virology, reproductive health or STDs. Just do some digging so that you can frame the article in a more obviously scientific light. Good luck!
  3. I think it depends on exactly what the article is about, but I would guess yes. At any rate just do it and see what the teacher says. I think most teachers would rather you turned in something than nothing, even if it wasn't quite what they were looking for. It sounds like the article could be on anything science and this should qualify.
  4. Definitely.
