How do I keep my weight loss from plateauing?
I have lost 13 lbs in 3 months by having a 1000 calorie diet, and oing pilates eveyr day for a half hour and cardio every day for a half hour as well as pushups, squats, lunges, etc. I really want to lose six more pounds in one month. How can I speed up my weight loss so I lose all six pounds in 4 weeks and how do I make sure I do not plateau in my weight loss?

- Right firstly i don't think you should have went below 1200 calories as it can be hard for most people but well done so far. To speed it up i would say spend less of your workout doing squats etc and do more cardio. Squats, lunges etc tone and build muscle, which weighs more than fat. If you insist on doing them make sure its in high numbers with no added weight, 25+ of them should do. your looking to loose fat not gain muscle. Your workouts hit a plateau every 6-8 weeks, so if you haven't changed it by now, you've hit one. A few simple changes should start you back up. Also if you fix your diet a bit, e.g. changing from 3 big meals into 6 smaller ones to speed up your metabolism. Hope this helped

- I found this on this website. There are more tips and info. you need to find an exercise and eating (notice I didn't say DIET) plan that works for you; You also need to find a strenuous physical activity that you actually enjoy, it might just be walking. Pretty soon your friends will be asking you for advice! Good luck, you can do this!!
