What is the quickest way to lose weight?
I am 5'6 and I weigh anywhere from 150 and I want to lose weight before my graduation day which is about a month away. I run three miles 5 to 6 days a week and I eat relatively healthy and still cannot seem to lose weight. Any suggestions? Please no cruel or mean answers, I am very sensitive when it comes to people judging me about my weight and looks. Thank you!

- Tons of grapefruit? LOOOOOOOOL omgsh hahaha, I had to laugh when I read that. On a more serious note, losing any weight on a 'quick' time period is not healthy. Try gradually eating many fruits and vegetables, don't forget about protein and carbs..YES, carbs. You should have approximately the amount of a rubix cube for dinner. Of carbs that is. Don't forget to drink lots of H20 hun.
- well....first try some crunches maybe about 50 a night or whatever is best....if you have been running those miles for a long time, you may want to switch it up a bit because your muscles adapt to the same workout after a while. maybe do some quick sprints and another day run your miles. The most effective way i think is to swim. your entire body is involved and my cousin lost 15lbs swimming. good luck keep it up!!
- To loss weight quickly cut down on all sugary stuff even sodas, especially cut down of bread. Keep on exercising at least 1 hour everyday for 4 to 5 days a week , I lost 20 pound by doing that in a month. I do step aerobics, try it. Oh, I also forgot to tell you limit your servings, 1 slice of bread or 1 cup of cereal, 1 cup of veggies, 1 cup of pasta or rice, 1 small apple,or 1 cup of cut up fruit of any kind 3 oz or meat or 1 boiled egg or 1/2 cup of beans, 1 % milk limit your fat like butter or oil to 1 tablespoon per meal. eat lost of salad w/ only to tablespoons of dressing with less fat. Drink lots of water. Good luck
- Baby, 150 is not bad at all for your height. It's actually perfect! I believe you are doing a wonderful job, you run, that's the best! What exactly do you want to lose? For instance if you want to loose your tummy (not implying that you have one) you should look for specific workouts. lol don't feel bad, My grandma came to stay with me and my family today and after 5months of not seeing her the first thing she told me was "You haven't lost weight" It made me feel completely shitty but hey what you can do......people are like that. - u dont need to run or go on a diet or something...., u just need to drink coffee,.............that keeps u awake right ? dont take naps in the day time. cut off your daytime naps sleep just 6 hrs a day like me..........well maybe in the begining u need to sleep 8 hrs a day but still.....................no daytime naps !!!
- ok. When doing cardio run for two minutes and walk for another two. Do that and you will sweat like crazy, continue doing that at least for 30 mins. When doing abs make sure to do ten by ten rest 10second between sessions. drink alot of water. Get in the sauna room after working out. Be very strict on you diet, only water, no bread, no mayo, ketchup, etc. I also recommend for you to work out firt thing in the morning, this way you will only burn the fat calories.
- I am 5'6 also and weigh about 125ibs. I have been 150 before. I go back and forth, but what I find works to lose weight, even though it may not be healthy and it may cancel out how healthy it is to exercise and eat right, you can enhance weight loss with various diet pills. Drinking coffee can also help because it is a stimulant and gives you an extra boost when running. Also, taking laxatives every other day helps to allow all your food to come out.
