Mend Your Diet

im thinking of doing a detox diet to clean myself of toxins. i havent been feeling well lately?

im 17. for the last couple of days i have been getting these waves of sharp pain in my chest and throughout my abdominal area. they happen a few times a day and last for several minutes. i think i need to detox or something. what would a detox diet consist of? how long should i do one?

All these fancy fad detox therapys are a load of bull and are just money making schemes....the best, cheapest and most natural way to detox your body is to get at least 8 hours of sleep,drink 8 glasses of fresh water each day,stay away from tea and coffee,drink herbal teas only eg green tea helps flush out the toxins and prevents water retention, cut out all processed foods, eat a diet low in animal and trans fats but rich in fresh fruit,vegetables, white fish and oily fish and nuts. cheap and easy !!!!! oh and take a least 20 mins of heart pumping excercise each day...a brisk walk on the beach does the trick,blow the cobwebs away !!!
  2. Hi, Doll, i would see a doctor just to make sure you are okay. while there you can ask about the timing of a detox diet and any recommendations. but, please, get those pains checked out.
