Does the Detox Diet really work?
I am considering trying the detox diet that beyonce used. I heard you can lose up to 20 pounds or more in just 2 weeks. Has anyone tried or heard anything about this? The ingredients are organic natural tea syrup (20ml) 2 tablespoons of freshly sqeezed lemon juice (about half a lemon) half a pinch of cayonne pepper (just for taste) ---drink 6 to 9 glasses a day Does anyone have any results on this or know how long it would take to see some results?

- Doesn't sound like it would do too much in terms of weight loss. You can try it but the only key to losing weight is to take in less calories than you use throughout the day. Whether you do this by eating less/smarter, exercising more, or best of all combining the two, is your choice. But something like that seems like it would more or less dampen your appetite, resulting in eating less. It's as simple as that. If it makes you eat less food throughout the day, then it will probably work. The timeframe depends on how little you eat as a result, but I wouldn't expect results in less than 4-6 weeks. Add some exercise to that diet and I guarantee you'll see quicker, better results. Cardio.
