  1. See the diet page and weightloss page at http://www.healthsinfo.com.
  2. How long have you been diabetic? what are your blood sugar readings like? If you're running high you will lose weight, your body is unable to use the energy you're giving it and is still starving, no matter how much you eat. If your numbers are fine, then it's the same balance of food vs energy that helps you to gain / lose / maintain weight. Exercise less or eat a little more, and try to keep a well balanced diet to keep everything working nicely :) Weight loss is a big symptom of type 1 diabetes, which is why I ask how long since diagnosis. If you've only been diagnosed recently you might want to check up whether they missed type 1. A lot of adult T1s are misdiagnosed as T2 in the beginning.
  3. here is the info about correct diabetic diet and calorie intake, hope this will help u
  4. There are other possible causes, but the most likely is that your blood sugars are out of control. I second Em_nz. You may be a Type 1 diabetic misdiagnosed as a Type 2 diabetic. Even if you really do have Type 2 diabetes, you may need insulin. Make an appointment with your doctor ASAP. Undiagnosed Type 1 diabetes can quickly turn fatal without insulin.
