  2. Those are all gimmics. You can do it yourself. Okay...I only started five Mondays ago and All I do is walk one hour every morning. I wear a calorie counter monitor to loose weight by the numbers. I have already lost two pant size and 27 pounds. I am a woman and have three kids and this is the method I use when I gain weight.. I am now at a size two and everyone is always amazed that I have had three kids. This is what I do below when I throw on a few extra pounds. It always works..No diet pills, no energy drinks..just me walking and getting the water I need. Of course I watch what I eat and the Lean Cuisine meals are great for that since the calories per box are 180 to 380 per box. Just make sure you eat healthy every three to four hours so your body will perform at its max. Here it is: Helpful Tips for weight loss: 1)A good way to loose weight is to use a calorie counter watch Keep to a 1,200 food intake Add 1,200 plus 3,500 (equals one pound of fat) ...and that is the total amount of calories you need to burn each day. Its actually really easy once you start watching the numbers and it doesn't seem like work or exercise. Its just a matter of changing the way you think about loosing weight. I use this method when i gain some pounds. The first time I did this I went from 168 to 127 2) Most people do not get enough water in their system. Water is your body's principal chemical component, comprising, on average, 60 percent of your weight. Every system in your body depends on water. For example, water flushes toxins out of vital organs, carries nutrients to your cells and provides a moist environment for ear, nose and throat tissues. Lack of water can lead to dehydration, a condition that occurs when you don't have enough water in your body to carry out normal functions. To determine if you are getting enough water use this simple formula.. Take your weight, for example 150 pounds and divide by 2. Take your answer which is 75 lbs and change it to ounces, in this case 75 ounces. That is how many ounces of water you need a day. Your body performs mostly on water. If you make sure you get enough water everyday your body will perform at top notch and your body will no longer have the cravings of junk food. You will have a better performing body system to help you work out and feel better thru out your day.
  3. Save this $. Just eat lesser and exercise and you can loss weight too. They only keep ask you for more $ to loss weight
  4. I measure weight loss by belly reduction and how sharp my jawline is. I once lost 22 lbs just by eating half meals every 3 hours. I'd eat anything i wanted (unhealthy) but i'd split em so each meal was around 300-400 calories. Kept drinking alchohol, had like 3 cheat meals a week, no exercise. Problem with that is I love to eat, and doing that for more than a few months can be a real pain in the ass. Its been a year or so since then and I’ve been eating at will, drinking, and not exercising. As you may have expected, I’ve been gaining weight. Since I've decided to exercise, now, I eat anything I damm well want, and i seem to be losing weight. This was my goal when I came up with my routine. I also hate doing cardio outdoors due to people watching or rain or traffic lights, earphones, having to wear shoes, etc. This is what I do. The best part is I can do all of these in my own room, no equipment needed, only having to go to the gym once a week for the back n biceps. For all of these I suggest preparing a playlist of music you like. Mon- Interval training Tues- Push Ups - Yoga Wed - Interval training - Back n Biceps Thur- Yoga - Squats Fri- Interval training Sat-Yoga - Pushups Sun- Yoga - Squats Squats. I just squat down and up, no weights, thats one rep. Go till you cant go no more. When i began, that was like 40-50. Yesterday, I hit 80. Good idea to stay at a number for a week or 2 before increasing by 5. It sounds like nothing, but when you finally stop, the way your heart will beat will be like nothing you’ve ever known. It never beats that fast even when I just ran 100m. So you know its good exercise, plus it works your legs. Too bad you cant do it daily. Legs would be too sore. Hands down best cardio I know and you don’t even have to take that long or go fast. Back n Biceps Go gym and work out back n biceps to exhaustion I just do the pulldown bar like 5 sets, each done to failure. Yoga 15 mins. Find any yoga site, pick the ones you like. I do about 8 of the ones I like. Be sure to include the boatman for abs and the bridge really exhausts you. Plus I do a split and the touch your toes move for flexibility. Don’t believe your perceptions of yoga. It can be tiring shit. Push ups (5 sets, each to failure) I usually do 3 sets normally. The 4th n 5th set are knee pushups. I started out doing only 2 normal sets, with 3 knee push up sets. Interval Training (Jumping jacks 2 mins) 30 sec rest total 8 times. By the 4th set, my legs are killing me so I alternate dancing or light jogging in between. So after the 1st 4 sets, I currently manage another 2 min set of jumping jacks.
  5. A friend of mine lost two pounds in three weeks. Not a great success indeed. We'd better save our money following a well-balanced nutrition. .
  6. note: any get slim quick gimmick only means you are going to regain every ounce back and then some!!! serious!
  7. I can't imagine they are healthy. I joined weight watchers last march and lost 42 pounds by August. Also, it certainly wouldn't hurt for me to tell you that portion is everything. Instead of eating a whole candy bar, eat half of one, hell, eat HALF of everything you eat and you will never have a weight problem.Drink 8 - 10 glasses of water a day, green tea is very good for your body as an antioxidant and help subtly speed up the metabolism. Salads (without fatty dressings and cheese) are very good for you, chicken is the king of meat in my opinion, as long as you don't fry it. Avoid fast food entirely, and walk anywhere you can as often as possible and get ahold of the 8-10 minute tae bo if you can. Drink diet sodas and juices (aka - cherry coke zero, sobe lean, crystal light, etc.) avoid sugar, switch to the 100 calorie snack packs, including popcorn. Eat apples, they are very filling! Cheese is an unecessary evil as well, so is milk, if you have to have it, drink the fat free kind. 100 calorie popcorn is a great snack. Eat turkey lunchmeat instead of a whole sandwich, etc. Eating is necessary, over eating is not. I also have a meal shake in place of a meal, I find it incredibly helpful at 3:00 in the afternoon.
