lose weight?

Hi im 14 year old gonna be 15 in october 2007 and im 5 feet 4 and im 170 pounds. I despretly need to lose weight since im supposed to be about 140 and there is a party coming up on July 1st that i really ned to look good for. Ive started doing about 20 minutes cardio on treadmill eating right drinking green tea and increasing protein. But i only lost 2 punds in two weeks. I need to boost this or this way ill only lose about 5 pounds before the party. I want to lose atleast 10-15 pounds. And i want to continue this process through all of summer and maybe rest of my life but right now i need something to boost my wieght loss but i dont want to take protein powders or weight lossing powders unless the natural cleansing powder stuff will work. Please help me and is green tea okay for me since im only 14??

  1. Just go ahead with the cardio, that's one of the best for weight loss. Elm...green tea is good, but don't over take it if u are a gastritis patient, without which its ok i think. Remember, you can't loose weight in a second! So if so far u've lost 2pounds, nevermind about that. Continue ur exercise. the right way. Don't hurry.
  2. Listen.. it took a long time to put the weight on and it's gonna take a long time to get it off. My best weight loss advice? 1. If God didn't make it, don't eat it. 2. Don't eat meat more than 2x a day (mealtimes), and each portion should be no bigger than the palm of your hand. That's only two portions of protein per day! I was 180lbs and using these ideas and weightlifting, I went down to 130lbs in one year. Lean muscle, during exercise, will burn more calories than a cardio work-out. Lean muscles continues to keep your metabolism up even when you rest.

  5. im 14 and i weighed 155 pounds abt a week n a half ago...ive lost 5 pounds so far by jus quiting soda, drinking more water.....not eating as much food but jus less portion s and eating mo protein and drinkin gmore milk too...i'll suggest to do at least 30 mins on the treadmill...i guess green tea is good but not dat healthy...n try cutting out on the fast food....i hv to lose 20 mo pounds b4 july too...ill b 15 in september....but don strave urself or keep checkin ur weigh.n i don think the boosting stuff is gud at ur age..u will lose it soon enough...gud luck..hope u achieve ur goal!
