lose weight?
im ten and I am 130lbs its embarrassing walking around in school with all this weight. does any one know a way I can diet and lose the weight. I really want to lose weight before my 11th birth day on january 10 next year. And I really reall want to be in school weighing lest HELP one my birth day I meant january 20

- well how tall are you? if you want to lose weight, do lots of cardiovascular. eat healthy foods, no fried foods. don't eat as much. remember, weight doesn't just come off in one night, it takes time. good luck :D
- dont think about a diet as in Jenny Craig or ehatever because you are way too young. All you need to do is control what you eat and how much you eat. If you are REALLY hungry and not just thinking to yourself that you are then eat.
- Aww, I'm sorry to hear that you are worried already at such a young age. At your age, I highly suggest that you do NOT starve yourself. The best way to loose weight and be overall healthier and happier is to exercise daily and cut back on the junk food. Exercise may be hard, as it is getting colder, but try to get some exercise outside for 60 minutes a day. Maybe even playing in the snow when it starts to snow. You could try becoming a runner (I'm a runner.) and just run slow for as long as you can. At the beginning you won't be able to run very far but by your birthday you could probably build up to 30-60 minutes without stopping. Eat healthier. I can't stress this enough. Do not eat school lunch. I'm not sure how healthy your family eats, but encourage them to buy healthier foods. AVOID- sport drinks (empty calories- no nutrients) soda candy chocolate any desert any fried food (pizza and chicken strips included) white bread chips AIM TOWARDS- fruits and vegetables drinking water rather then other drinks whole wheat bread whole wheat crackers I hope this helps! - Ur very brave for posting here- I know its kinda hard when your only 10 to understand, but you have a life ahead of you and u will only suffer with this weight... believe me, ive struggled my whole life and wished when I was ur age that I did something about it. Best thing I can recommend, is get a small bowl, or container- about the size of two standard mugs. Every meal you have should fit in that box, and only have 3 meals a day, with a piece of fruit or a snack in between. The only other rule is ur allowed one "treat" a week- like a piece of cake, or some pizza or whatever. Eat everything, but do it in moderation. It takes discipline, but I promise all the hard work will be worth it. Your heart and body will thank you! : ) Best of luck to you
