Lose Weight.?
I know everyone asks this question, but I want to lose weight. I'm 5'4.5 and I weigh around 140 pounds. Noone thinks I look like it but I do. I was on Weight Watchers and I weighed around 125 but my doctor said that that was unhealthy so I stopped. And in 3 months weighed 140. I tried to get back on it, but I can't seem to stick with it. I exercise everyday at the local YMCA, but I think I eat too much. When I try to eat less, I feel weak and really hungry. I don't know how to lose weight. Any suggestions?

- I am not sure what your diet currently consists of, but the food you eat can play a big role in your feelings of weakness and hunger. You might want to record what you eat and how much and notice the amount of carbs, protein, sodium, etc you are consuming. A really easy and good way to do this can be found online at http://sparkpeople.com - I have been entering my food consumption into their journal, and it instantly analyzes what's in the food I eat, including all kinds of nutrients etc. Give it a shot.
- I think exercise isn't as critical as your diet in terms of reducing weight. So you should focus on the diet. In fact, you might even get better results by eating less even at the cost of exercising less. But if you still wanna stick to your exercises, I think the best time to do them is in the morning. You also want to maintain a high heartbeat while you exercise. Now you said you feel weak when you eat less. Do you look at the calories before eating anything? If you watch calories carefully, you might be able to eat a lot while still not going over your daily calories limit. I heard it's actually good to eat breakfast too. Finally, building up muscles can also help burn off fats. You don't necessarily need to build up muscles in your fat areas. But the more muscles you have the more effective fat burning will be.
- get some free help like I did, it was the best thing I ever did to lose weight. if losing some pounds of any description and inches is what you want then I would suggest you use a diet that is all natural and is rich in protein and vitamins, which is what the FDA recommends. I used a protein based diet after a friend who had lost a lot of weight with this recommended it to me. All the way through you feel great and energized, you also get great coaching and support along the way. The people are very friendly and gave me lots of great advice. I needed to lose 40 pounds and I did so with no problems. The products really work and you feel great whilst losing weight. I lost all my weight in less than four months and they have helped me to keep it off. I would definitely recommend using them. My sister did this also and lost 76 pounds in five months (She works out, I don’t). There is no pressure and they will even send you a load of free samples so you can try before you buy. The samples were the thing that initially convinced me that this was the right diet for me. You also a get a free complete health consultation with the samples, I just paid the postage and handling, but for what I got it was well worth it. You have to go to www.myhealthabc.net to register your details to get the free samples and the free advice etc and then they just call you up and ask you a few questions. It was so easy. Their main site is www.myhealthabcmall.com and you can see all the products and packages and order from their. Its nice to have contact with real people who care about you losing weight and improving your health. I am in better health now than I have ever been thanks to these products and I know that I will continue to keep the weight off with the help I have received. I hope this helps.
- Exercise everyday like jogging around the block Skip meals. Eat 2 times per day than 3 times per day Dont eat until you're full Eat fruits at night if your hungry. Drinks lots of water and stop all the fast food and chocolate. There are more tips and info. there's a video on success fitness too.
- First, you have to determine your Body Mass Index. http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/... If you are healthy, try to aim for a BMI that is one lower than your current BMI. (Type in random weights in the weight box until you get the desirable BMI.) Make that your target. Then see how many days you have to reach the target. Divide the weight loss by weeks. How many pounds should you lose per week? If this is more than 1.5 pounds per week, then you need a more reachable goal. Find that goal by repeating the above steps. Once you find a goal that is reachable with a weight loss of 0.5-1.5 pounds a week (ideal is 1 pound), I think that goal should be reachable. Now, calculate how many calories you are consuming per day. http://www.csgnetwork.com/caloriesfemale... This calculator gives you the amount of calories you should take in everyday to maintain your weight. Now, if you want to lose weight, you should reduce this amount by 500 calories. The result is the amount you should consume to lose about 1 pound per week. Let's call this resultant amount your "target amount". If this target amount is less than 1200, then you cannot follow it. (Consuming less than 1200 calories makes your body go into "starvation mode". Your body thinks it's starving so it will hold onto whatever fat you have. So you won't lose much weight, only about a pound or so altogether. and when you start eating more calories, you will gain more weight and weigh more than you did before. So, don't go below 1200.) So, if your target amount is less than 1200 calories, make it 1200 calories. Now, you should eat your target amount + any calories you will burn with exercise. (Note that this exercise means over and above what your usual exercise.) I would recommend opening an account on http://www.calorie-count.com/ . You can find the calorific values of almost every food and can record your progress and keep in touch with other weight-watchers. You might wanna try http://www.calorieking.com/ but they charge a membership fee (looking up calorific values is free, though). Following what I've said should make you reach your target weight. I hope you do reach it.
